The gods whisper into the silent stillness of our hearts
When our minds are too noisy with thought
We cannot hear them give us guidance
We can also not hear them give us orders

Means that the thinking person
Is the free man
The silent still person is
The slave of the gods

I like to think of myself as a free man (woman, whatever). Though, I have nothing against those who are a slave to their god (s). Everyone has their own path, and I respect that.
