The Joy of Canes
Canes can offer a variety of sensations. Most often, they sting quite badly when hit with them. They can leave interesting marks and can be used for precision work, focusing in a line on one location. The welts they leave behind are excellent. All in all, canes as weapons of sexual torture and enjoyment offer a good time for all involved, so long as you like that sort of thing.
I do.
Last night, I got to participate in a couple of sessions that focused on pain and sensation as well as, “getting to know you” play at a weekly party. I got to spend some time in the top position with someone who was getting a feel for how it felt to be gently caned by both a thick and thin rod. Then, his mentor and I played, with him beating me with the canes that I had made over the last couple of days.
Some things I learned:
*Wood from the craft store, even if it is thicker, is *not* the wood to use if you are going to put it to heavy use.
*The ribbon wrapping as a decorative element succeeded in acting as a safety element, keeping the cane from splintering.
* I totally missed this.
I am looking forward to hunting down some proper wood, wrapping it up in ribbon, and finding willing partners to beat on.
Here are some pictures of my canes:
The top one is my ladybug cane. The middle one is the Rainbow cane that I broke. The bottom pink and white polka dot one stood up much better than the rainbow cane.
This is me actively bending the rainbow cane at the break. When it is not actively being bent, it just looks like a crooked rainbow stick. There is no wood showing. We broke this stick on my back, not the new guy.
This is what the rainbow stick looks like when it is not actively being bent.
