Choking on Screams
Nerves ablaze with fiery pain
No way to vent it except through screams
Which are stuck in your throat
Choking you slowly; blocking breath
Panic for breath and release
Of the self from this pain
Consumes you every thought
Until darkness envelopes you
And you don’t care
If you wake up again
