Why would God care

If I loved someone

So long as love was present?

Would he really care

If I loved more than one person?

What sort of petty

Bullshit is that?

Is God really so

Insecure as to require

All sorts of mono-behavior

From His worshippers?

If so,

Then I respectfully decline worship

I turn my face from His jealousy

My God should be above such

Asinine behavior

If I am not good enough

Because of who or who many

People that I love

Then perhaps God

Does not deserve my reverence

Does not deserve my worship

And if my brand of love

Is unpalatable to Him

Then he can shop elsewhere

For His adulation
